Bobcat Dash is the PTA’s major fundraiser for the Fall that concludes on Friday, November 1st with a fun obstacle course for our students. This year, we are Dashing for Shade to raise money to purchase and install a new cover for the student playground. Our next PTA Membership Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 8th at 6:30 p.m. in the Lakeview Library. Please join us for this brief meeting to find out all the important things our organization is doing this year. Assistant Principal, Dan Flank, will present the NISD district-wide mission for the 2019-20 school year - Social Emotional Learning (SEL). ExSELence is always putting our kids first! Childcare option during this meeting is participation in Art Night beginning at 6:15 p.m. See below.
PTA Reflections Art Night will be held the same night as our PTA Membership Meeting on Tuesday, October 8th in the Lakeview Cafeteria. Dinner will be offered for students starting at 6:15 p.m. for $7 that includes pizza, fruit, drink, and dessert. Art supplies also included. At 6:45 p.m., our Reflections Chair will discuss our theme this year “Look Within” and encourage all students to get started on their creative project. Mix it Up Day will take place during Red Ribbon Week (10/21-10/25) on Tuesday, October 22nd. Students will sit somewhere different in the cafeteria this day to get to know other classmates. Students are encouraged to wear crazy socks to mix it up!
Spooky Skate will be held at Skatetown in Grapevine on Thursday, October 24th from 6-8 p.m. Students are encouraged to dress in their best costumes as prizes will be awarded for scariest and most creative costume. Flyer will come home in your student’s binder with more details!
