Bobcat Dash is the largest fundraising event that Lakeview Elementary PTA holds. The PTA uses money raised during Dash to fund a number of grants, programs, and items; for example, supply grants for every teacher and aide at Lakeview; community events like Bobcat Family Fun Night, Boys Night Out, and our Sweetheart Dance; classroom hall decorations and holiday parties; program grants for our Specials teachers; and several digital subscriptions for Lakeview students. 

In addition to raising money for our school, Bobcat Dash encourages students to take pride and ownership in our school and community. There will be plenty of Bobcat spirit; some friendly competition between classes and grades; and a few visits from other Bobcat supporters in our community for some school spirit-filled morning pep rallies.

Set up your child’s fundraising page by making sure their teacher and class is up to date, uploading a photo, customizing a goal, and crafting a welcome message.

Beginning immediately and through Sunday, October 27, please help your child(ren) collect tax-deductible donations from family, friends, neighbors, and anyone else that is willing to help the children at our school. All donations can be made through your child’s personal fundraising page, which is easy to share on Socials and via Email.

At the end of the week, all students will participate in an obstacle course and blacktop party organized by the Lakeview PTA. This year’s Bobcat Dash Day will take place during grade level Specials times on Friday, October 25, 2024. Each child will receive their grade level shirt that day to wear. We are recruiting volunteers, so please sign up to help us pull off a successful Dash Day. We’ll get students pumped for the final weekend of fundraising, celebrate being a Bobcat, and spend some fun time obstacle-course running, dancing, playing, snacking with our friends, and celebrating our successful fundraising to date!
