Engaged Membership

Texas PTA is proud to announce that Lakeview Elementary PTA has earned the Voice for Every Child Platinum Membership Award by recruiting 763 members to be a voice for all 565 students enrolled at our school! This is THE most prestigious Membership Award offered to Local PTAs and we are one of only 50 PTAs across the state that has earned the honor! We will officially receive this honor at the Texas PTA Launch Convention in July!

Lakeview PTA received the following recognitions from the Texas PTA this 2023-23 school year:

Headstart Award- In August have 75% or more of the previous year’s total membership

Early Bird Award- In September recruited 100% of last year’s membership

Snappy Increase Award- In October recruiting more than 100% of the previous year’s membership

Student Membership Award- Recruited at least 25 student members (we have 265)

MARS (Men Are Really Super) Award- Recruited 50+ male members

PTA School of Excellence in 2020-22
Lakeview PTA received the National School of Excellence recognition in 2020-2022 term! In 2020, we created an Excellence Leadership Team that focused on "Health and Safety of Students.” By implementing several programs and hosting guest speakers for parents, we were able to meet our main objective to “support students’ emotional and mental well-being.” Our PTA is committed to giving every child a voice at Lakeview and to continue to strive for excellence in their education experience. Every other year our PTA leadership will apply to continue to hold our PTA School of Excellence Badge.
