Immediately following our PTA Membership Meeting and Elections, please join us for our PTA Parent Program on "Bullying & Conflict:  Knowing is Half the Battle" presented by Christie Hobbs, NISD Attorney. 

This session equips parents to work with the school when they suspect a child is being bullied.  We'll discuss common signs that a child is being bullied, David's Law, school procedures for responding to bullying complaints, and steps parents can take at home to encourage and strengthen their kids. 

About the Speaker:

Christie Hobbs is General Counsel for NISD.  She is an experienced school lawyer and former teacher with degrees from Texas Tech School of Law and Texas Christian University.  She is a proud NISD parent of 2 girls.
