Welcome to the Lakeview Elementary School PTA website. The PTA supports all students, teachers and staff by providing programs, volunteers and funding of school needs. Whether you are a new or returning Lakeview parent, please consider becoming involved with us in any way that works for you. We have opportunities for all types of availabilities and skills!

Lakeview Elementary Bobcat Dash 2025

It’s time for Bobcat Dash! Bobcat Dash is the largest fundraising event that Lakeview Elementary PTA holds. The PTA uses money raised during Dash to fund a number of grants, programs and items; for example, supply grants for every teacher and aide at Lakeview; community events like Bobcat Family Fun Night, Boys Night Out and our Sweetheart Dance; classroom hall decorations and holiday parties; program grants for our Specials teachers; and digital subscriptions for students at Lakeview.

While it is the PTA’s largest fundraiser of the year, it is also a time to celebrate being a Lakeview Bobcat. It’s a week of pep rallies, mascot shenanigans and cheerleader and band visits, culminating with a fun day of obstacle course running and blacktop games. It’s also a week of showing how much we love Lakeview and its students, staff and families.

Spooky Skate 2025!

Lakeview PTA is so excited to bring back the beloved Spooky Skate event!

Join us on Monday, October 27th, from 6-8pm at Galaxy Skate in Grapevine. Wear your favorite costume (that is conducive for skating) and have fun rolling around the rink with your friends. Food will be available for purchase at the concession stands.

Purchasing your tickets in advance is recommended as prices will increase at the door.

Cost:

$5 for non skaters

$12 for skaters (includes skates)

You may bring your own skates, but there will be no price reduction.

This is not a drop off event - guardians must stay with skaters.

Become a Community Partner!

Each year we rely on our generous community partners to help us start the year off by sponsoring our big back-to-school community event, Bobcat Family Fun Night and our fall fundraiser/community spirit event, the Bobcat Dash. Additional funds provide every staff member at Lakeview with a classroom supplies grant; and allow the PTA to purchase new equipment, technology, and curriculum enrichment for the school. With business sponsorships, we continue to support Lakeview’s mission to meet every child where they are by funding numerous digital subscriptions.

The Lakeview PTA Community Partner program is an opportunity where businesses can show their support of the Lakeview PTA in a one time sponsorship that supports the school all year long. Benefits of being a Lakeview PTA Community Partner include prominent publicity, event participation, and recognition.
